Your Search can include none, any or all of the criteria in the select box. When entering text, you can use upper or lower case, both are treated the same.

Be sure that you really do need to restrict the search to very specific or narrow criteria. A wider search with fewer things to check is usually faster and more efficient, and you could miss someone who is otherwise ideally suited to your needs.

Start your search using broad parameters, perhaps just gender to begin with. If you return too many results, then start adding parameters one at a time to shorten the list. You can view actors' details and still return to your original search list, change parameters, refine your search or re-start from scratch by clicking the "clear" button.

Skills will search for particular skills and other attributes from our database, including actors' notes, ethnicity, physicality and training. Because there may be different ways of describing the same skill, you can enter just part of a word. E.G. Entering "driv" to find "Driver", "Driving" and "Drives" or "jug" to find "juggler" and "juggling"

Searching by age will produce a list of people ranging from 7 years younger to 7 years older than the specified age.

If you know the surname already, enter some or all of the surname. e.g. Entering "sm" would find "Smedley", "Smith, "Smithers" and "Smythe" - but "smi" would find only "Smith" and "Smithers"

Minimum height if selected will exclude everyone under the height specified, similarly Maximum height if selected will exclude everyone over the height specified. You can use this feature to find actors within a height range, or set the minimum and maximum the same to select an exact height.

Base will restrict your list to those actors who have specified they are, or can be based in your chosen location.

Accent / Language will find those actors who either speak, or are able to adopt the accent of your specified language or dialect.
